Nouveauté à Marcolès cette année : un nouvel atelier-boutique de poterie, rue Longue, est ouvert depuis le 12 avril !

Enfant des volcans d’Auvergne, la Terre palpite sous mes pieds et dans mes mains. La faïence a croisé mon chemin à Aubagne en Provence, où j’ai obtenu deux CAP : Tournage et Décoration.
J’aime la faïence pour sa souplesse : les pièces dansent !
Plusieurs techniques pour la mise en forme : tournage, façonnage, estampage. Les couleurs et décors appliqués au pinceau peuvent se décliner à l’infini.
Mes motifs sont inspirés du monde végétal, animal, des textiles.
Un émail brillant, héritage des lumières du sud de la France, permet la finition.
Dans la boutique, vous trouverez des objets qui habillent le quotidien ou chuchotent aux étoiles…

Ouvert du mercredi au samedi, 10h-12h et 14h-18h, et 19h en été.
Ouverture exceptionnelle le dimanche lors d’événements.

Something new in Marcolès this year: A new pottery workshop-boutique in Rue Longue opened on April 12! : As a child from the Auvergne volcanoes, the earth pulsates under my feet and in my hands. Earthenware crossed my path in Aubagne in Provence, where I got two vocational degrees: CAP Turning and Decoration.
I love earthenware for its flexibility: the pieces dance! There are several techniques for shaping earthenware: turning, shaping and stamping. Colours and decorations applied with a brush are endless. My motifs are inspired by the world of plants, animals and textiles… A brilliant enamel, inherited from the bright lights of the south of France, is used for the finishing touch.
In the shop, you’ll find objects that dress up everyday life or whisper to the stars…
Open Wednesday to Saturday, 10am-12pm and 2pm-6pm, and 7pm in summer. Exceptionally open on Sundays for special events.

Iets nieuws in Marcolès dit jaar: Op 12 april is er een nieuwe pottenbakkerij geopend in de Rue Longue! : Als kind van de vulkanen van de Auvergne pulseert de aarde onder mijn voeten en in mijn handen. Aardewerk kwam op mijn pad in Aubagne in de Provence, waar ik twee vakdiploma’s behaalde: CAP Draaien en Decoratie.
Ik hou van aardewerk vanwege de flexibiliteit: de stukken dansen! Er zijn verschillende technieken om de stukken vorm te geven: werpen, vormen en stempelen. Kleuren en versieringen aangebracht met een penseel zijn eindeloos. Mijn motieven zijn geïnspireerd op de wereld van planten, dieren en textiel… Een briljant glazuur, geërfd van de felle lichten van Zuid-Frankrijk, wordt gebruikt voor de finishing touch.
In de winkel vind je voorwerpen die het leven van alledag aankleden of naar de sterren fluisteren…
Geopend van woensdag tot zaterdag van 10 tot 12 uur en van 14 tot 18 uur, en 19 uur in de zomer.
Uitzonderlijk geopend op zondag tijdens speciale evenementen.
